Clinical Pilates is an evidence based system of exercises which focus on the retraining and recruitment of deep stabilizing muscles (core strength and spinal stability) as well as improving posture, strength and flexibility. Clinical Pilates can also improve balance, enhance performance, reduce pain, is injury specific and is efficient and safe for use in rehabilitation.

The Pilates PT program at Fusion Pilates Studio is an individualised one. Each client is individually assessed, set a personalised home program and a personalised studio program, which is supervised at all times. Clients can choose to stay one on one for their PT session or share a session with up to four other people while continuing with their individualised, PT program.

All our Pilates PT sessions involve floor – based exercises, together with spring loaded resistance machines; A2 Balanced Body Reformer, Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair, Core Align, Functional Trainer, Strength & Conditioning equipment, as well as stability balls, orbit, foam rollers, hand weights and other small pieces of Pilates and Strength and Conditioning apparatus. We also work closely with our Allied Health Professionals, GP’s, local Physiotherapy & Osteopathy clinics to ensure we are working together to provide you with the best outcome for your injuries or issues.

All of our Clinical/Studio Pilates Practitioners are highly trained, some with degrees in Human Movement, Physiotherapy & Osteopathy and all have a minimum diploma level in Professional Pilates Instruction.

We have a 50 / 50  female / male clientele.

Please note, the government is still working on its decision to remove Pilates from health funds. We will have more news from the Australian Pilates association & health funds soon. Please check your individual health funds for claiming.

We provide different multi purchase discounted passes which have always taken into account the rebate health funds would have passed on to you and we will continue to offer these.

SESSION TYPES

All sessions begin with an individual initial physical assessment and discussion of your goals. A second individual session outlines your home program and introduction to your personalized studio program.

We also love to work with your preferred allied health professional for a complete exercise rehab program.

From here you can either stay 1 on 1 or move into a semi private group session. All groups have a maximum of 4 people to enable tailor made programs for each person. Make up a group of your own friends/family or join an existing group.
